Gratitude and responsibility, two of the most notorious feelings after being selected as a representative of Guatemala and Latin America in the annual ceramists’ event@ceramicartlondon in April.
This collection is inspired in the utilitarian ceramic as a native ancestral technique based on the beautiful Guatemalan plateau landscapes. Using organic and contemporary techniques and shapes. Each one of the pieces is unique and seeks to create harmony together or by itself,
like every element that compose our landscapes and its different natural protagonists.Cherishing as a whole or as an individual like a specific universe.
The elements:Animals. Its beauty and naivety, its beautiful and subtle existence. Plants. As organic entities in constant movement. Water. As the central element of life.
Each piece is designed to become in an object that participates in our daily living, making tribute to our nature and its relevance in our daily life. Besides, as every utilitarian piece is a co-creation because it’s not finished until the user completes it.
